Angie is a producer of television and radio and a former Newscaster with RTE Television and Radio. She runs Ocarina Ltd a media production company who specialise in the production of health and education videos and radio documentaries on a wide range of subjects. She is also the founder of the Women In Leadership website and podcast. Angie is also a part time lecturer in Media Production DFEi College in Dun Laoghaire. She also runs Media Training courses for public service organisations, in the IMI and in private commercial companies.
Angie is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin where she studied Economics and Political Science. She later went on to become a fundraiser and Development Officer with The Children’s Medical and Research Foundation in Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in Crumlin. Angie has produced many awareness raising and training videos on end-of-life issues for the Irish Hospice Foundation on everything from ‘Breaking Bad News’ to ‘Journeys To The End Of Life’ and ‘Think Ahead’ and is currently working on videos on Dementia Care and awareness.
Angie has also produced radio documentaries such as ‘Leading Women’ for Newstalk and is currently commissioned to produce two one hour documentaries under the BAI Sound and Vision scheme for Newstalk. She cares passionately about elder care and about the need to ensure the safety of those in vulnerable situations. An occasional panellist with TV3 Midday she is also active on social media. @angiemezzetti
