Director of Erwin Mediation Services
Karen Erwin is a mediator, company director and a non-practising solicitor. She has her own mediation practice, Erwin Mediation Services, which specialises in interpersonal, partnership and intergenerational disputes. She is a 50% owner and executive Chairperson of Ganly Walters, Estate Agents and is a partner in Erwin Bouchier Professional Solutions which gives training and advice in mediation, dispute resolution, governance, and boardroom skills. Karen was a commercial litigation partner in A&L Goodbody for 15 years and subsequently an executive director and General Counsel in The Irish Times for 8 years. Other roles held by Karen were Chairperson -The Equality Authority (4 years), Chairperson – Chairpersons’ Forum, (9 years); Chairperson – Irish Auditing and Accounting Supervisory Authority, (11 years); President -The Mediators’ Institute (7 years). She is a former international Director of the International Women’s Forum as well as their Leadership Foundation and is currently on the executive of their Irish Forum. Karen is currently a director of Dublinia and a Fellow of St Columba’s College. She lets out two holiday cottages in Millin Bay, Portaferry, Co Down.
